Cape Town Carnival weekend 18-20 March 2010

Bringing a touch of Rio to the streets of Cape Town with Rhythm, Roots and Boots. Cape Town Carnival will transform the streets of Cape Town into a sight to be seen with bright colours, costumes and larger-than-life floats on the weekend of the 18 to 20March 2010. After this inaugural event, themed "Rhythm, Roots and Boots, " the carnival will take place every year on the third weekend of March.

It will kick off with a star-studded fashion show led by South Africa's top designers and celebrity models. The next evening the fun will continue with street, beach and club parties, plus the Grand Carnival Ball at the CT ICC. On Saturday the highlight of the weekend will be a parade of five competing groups of performers, comprising a total of 10 000 artist and entertainers. It will be massive.

Come dressed up in your most fabulous, outrageous and festive costumes for the party of a lifetime. Watch Long Street come alive and party till the sun comes up. The best thing it is FREE!!!!!

Cableway extends Family Special

Cableway reopens & Ticket for Sales Online

Many of our guest enquire when the Cableway will open again. Good New... The Cableway reopen to the public on Monday August 17 following the annual maintenance.

" Table Mountains Cableway is required to do annual maintenance to meet the highest global cableway standards set by Swiss Governing Body for Cableways ( BAV ) " said the company in a media release on August 12.

Please keep in mind the Cableway operates weather permitting

ONLINE TICKET SALES

From August 17, table Mountain Aerial Cableway has introduced a ticketing system that allows visitors to purchase tickets online.

The new system avoids visitors having to wait in queues at the ticket office, letting them go straight to the cable car.

Online ticket are available from www.tablemountain.net and are valid for 7 days after purchase.

"The rooms are nice and well decorated. Very good quality for money with very friendly staff from the office to the kitchen. Beds were excellent and bedding top quality. Breakfast was sumptious, simply outstanding. Security and location, excellent. Would I stay here again? Definitely. Any requests were attended to immediately and they even did more."

Welcome to the new website for The Beach House Hout Bay.

It's been a bit of a rush to get the website live in the final days of
business of 2008 but we are proud to present it to you and hope that you
find it useful and informative. If something looks out of place please feel
free to email us as we will be doing the final tweaks to the site in January
2009.
